About Hope Restored Canada Based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, we are a charitable organization guided and led by compassionate people who care deeply about the restoration and empowerment of all people, especially those who have been impacted by sexual exploitation and trafficking. Girls as young as 13 are recruited into the sex trade by human traffickers that exploit their vulnerability. Most are Indigenous. The pimps and traffickers, who expect their victims to work everyday, rake in an average of $280,000/year per victim. The girls and women, who usually have no access to family and friends and fear harm from their traffickers, are trapped. The pandemic has reduced their escape options even more. Our Approach: Our mission is succinctly expressed through the H.O.P.E. Model: HRC_WebIcons_Holistic.png HOLISTIC RESTORATION Providing each person with opportunities for restoration (physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually) by providing: recovery program, support groups, mentorship, access to transitional housing and case planning. HRC_WebIcons_Education.png EDUCATION Informing and influencing individuals about the systemic and systematic causes and effects of sexual exploitation and trafficking and preventative action through: public awareness, educational sessions, and training for service providers on sexual exploitation & trafficking.
