About this service
The Supported Independent Living Program (SILP) at SSILC has existed since 2005 and has continued to expand, supporting more individuals each year. The program operates by pairing consumers with support workers to guide the consumer on independent living skills. Pivotal to the SILP at SSILC is that the direction of the program is mandated by the consumer and as opposed to the support workers.
