About this service
Through a partnership with the MacKenzie Art Gallery, this program provides an opportunity for immigrant women to share, create, and learn through empowering workshops.
The program includes:
- Conversation circles and life skills training
- Referral and education to access community services
- Building relationships and sharing experiences in a safe environment
- Art activities with professional art instructors
- Free child minding is available for children to participate in supervised play, games, and art activities while mothers attend the workshops.
Eligibility:
- Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents, Refugee Status, Visitors, and Work Permit holders
- This program is available only to women
