About this service
We support people with high physical disability (whom we refer to as the 'Centre') to develop, and maintain their own community based networks of support. We assist in choosing both a network facilitator and members. We offer training for network facilitators regarding developing, maintaining and growing networks. We also provide ongoing opportunities for facilitator and network mentoring.
The support a network provides to a Centre and their families is as unique as each Centre is unique. That said, the general framework of a network is that they listen to the Centre to determine who they are and how they want to grow. They identify needs and how the network can assist in finding necessary resources to address those needs.
