About this service
RODS Stage 1 & 2 English program is a provincially-funded language training program with the goal to assist newcomers who cannot access federally-funded language classes. To be eligible for the Stage One & Two classes, persons must:
- be temporary residents who are eligible to work in Canada or recent citizens (2 years or less)
- be 18 years of age or older
- be assessed at levels 3-6 on the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) Placement Test. Priority will be given to eligible Temporary Residents. An exemption may be required for consideration for permanent residents/citizens prior to enrolment in the program.
