About this organization
We are the family and friends of children with Down syndrome. We started in 2002 as a group of parents who wanted to offer support to other parents facing similar challenges and opportunities. We wanted to enhance the quality of life for our families and our children by enabling full participation in our communities. Extended families and friends joined in. Were not surprised by our fast growth were a very desirable community to be a part of!
Our roots have been parent-focused, but were continually evolving. We look forward to watching our children grow and seeing the contributions they make and leadership they lend to our organization in the future.
