About this service
KINDRED SPIRIT IS A SUPPORT PROGRAM FOR WOMEN WHO ARE AT RISK OF LOSING THEIR CHILDREN INTO THE CARE OF THE MINISTRY OF SOCIAL SERVICES, OR FOR WOMEN WHO ARE WORKING TOWARD HAVING THEIR CHILDREN RETURNED TO THEIR CARE.
Kindred Spirit offers in-home programming and connects clients to community programming. These programs focus on healthy lifestyles and relationships, positive parenting, life skills, addictions, and recreational activities. The goal of Kindred Spirit is to help keep families together and children out of the care of the Ministry of Social Services and to assist mothers to be able to live independently with their children.
Who can use it?
For women who are at risk of losing their children to the care of The Ministry of Social Services.
