About this service
STR8 UP offers programs for individuals who want to exit gang life, engage in educational and/or employment training and reduce negative contacts with the criminal justice system. The GVRS-CIM project serves all of North and North Central Saskatchewan.
Do you want to go back to school or work towards stable employment?
Are you between the ages of 15 to 30 years old?
Are you gang-affiliated and thinking seriously of getting out of the lifestyle?
This project has three phases:
- RELENTLESS OUTREACH (INDIVIDUALIZED SUPPORT 4-6 months)
- TRANSFORMATION (INTERNAL & COMMUNITY RESOURCES 1-2 years)
- SUPPORT & SUSTAINMENT (ONGOING SUPPORT 1-2 years)
