About this service
Did you leave school before completing grade ten, or have you been out of school for a long period of time? Would you like to find employment? Enrolling in Essential Skills for the Workplace might be the next step in achieving your goals.
The Essential Skills for the Workplace (ESWP) program is intended to support you in gaining the skills needed to enter and succeed in the workplace. This program includes six months of literacy and workplace essential skills training and includes work placements. ESWP is offered at SIIT campuses in Regina, Saskatoon, Prince Albert, and in various community locations.
Completing ESWP at SIIT will prepare you to enter Adult 10, or pursue employment.
*SIIT does not currently offer upgrading.
Who can use it?
Strong preference is given to Status First Nations applicants, but SIIT programs are open to anyone.
