About this service
The Targeted Initiative for Older Workers (TIOW) is a provincially-funded employment program created in an effort to increase the engagement of older workers in Saskatchewans labour force.
Participants in this program are provided with opportunities to develop employability skills, investigate career options, learn about current labour practices, participate in a work placement, and upgrade their work-related literacy and computer skills.
The main objective of the TIOW is to recognize that older workers have many contributions to make to society and that their knowledge needs to be retained by re-integrating them back into the workforce.
Isnt it time we accepted that being overqualified is actually a benefit rather than a hindrance?
