About this service
The ESP 4 Youth was designed by the Prince Albert Métis Womens Association to assist individuals between the ages of 18 and 29 years of age in gaining employment in the Prince Albert area.
The participants take part in classroom activities which included pre-vocational and employment assessment and skills-based training. The final weeks involve the participants taking part in a work placement at a Prince Albert business where they are able to properly demonstrate and apply their skills and secure employment.
Studies indicate that employment is one of the greatest factors in the successful reduction of recidivism.
