About this service
An approximate 3-day emergency supply of food (with a few household items if available) is provided upon request of a social worker from one of the schools. Hampers are pre-assembled with the non-perishable items and storied in our room at the church. Perishable items are purchased at the time of request. A school staff member picks up the completed hamper from the church and delivers it to the family in need. When required, emergency food supplies are also provided to members of the church and community.
This ministry relies on donations from people in our church. The drastic changes in attendance at services necessary in 2020 has greatly impacted donations of non-perishable items. THANK YOU to each one of you who supports this ministry. Love in action!
