About this service
The Centre provides confidential counselling for survivors and the family of survivors.
Sexual assault is a crime of violence, power and control, for which the offender alone is responsible. The person who is sexually assaulted does NOT bring on the assault through dress, behaviour or physical location. Sexual Assault can happen to anyone - female, male, adult or child. Everyone is affected by sexual assault. We believe and support the person who is sexually assaulted. It is NOT your fault.
Sexual assault workers provide information, support, advocacy, referrals and both short and long term couselling. The sexual assault work will, upon request by the client, go with the client to the police station, hospital and courts.
We serve our community while supporting and advocating for all survivors of sexual assault and abuse. We welcome any survivor of sexual assault and work to support you in what ever capacity we can.
