About this service
Artists at Home is a volunteer-based art, crafts, and painting program that is lead by Janice Jacques along with other volunteers. The group meets two or three Saturday mornings a month in the main lounge.
The Residents love to paint! Theyve created landscapes, flowers, birds, abstracts, and more. You can see their work hung throughout MSJ Home. Their best pieces are shown at the MSJ Art Gala. The paintings are sold in a silent auction with select pieces sold in a Live auction.
Artists at Home gratefully invite volunteers to join them on Saturday mornings. The art group needs help portering residents to and from crafts, serving refreshments and also working one on one with our residents who need a little extra help during this time. If you are interested in joining our group, please call Janice at 306-953-4501. We welcome everyone to visit us on Saturday mornings!
