About this service
JHSS Prince Albert will provide a community alternative to accused who would otherwise be involved in short-term municipal police, RCMP or other custody cells.
Services will be provided to no more than thirty (30) participants for short-term informed case management and potential crisis residency concern with the objectives of:
- Reducing the chance of criminal re-offending;
- Increasing compliance with any legal conditions while in the community; and
- Increasing the likelihood of the participant attending scheduled court appearances, while awaiting conclusion of criminal charges.
