About this service
COVID-19 UPDATE: We do understand that many of you are missing the support and encouragement that you receive at our support groups, but until we can gather in person, we are offering virtual support groups. Groups are open to all who are in the province, so it may be a chance to meet new people from different communities, this can be a silver lining in a time that is very different.
Alzheimer Society support groups offer a chance to:
- Exchange information and friendship with others living with and affected by dementia
- Access the most current information
- Learn and share practical tips for coping with change
- Decrease feelings of loneliness and isolation
- Express feelings and be reassured that these feelings are normal
- Find a sense of hope
