About this organization
COVID-19 UPDATE: In accordance with guidance provided by the SK Ministry of Health, the drop-in centre is currently CLOSED to the public.
The Gate offers a place to meet and socialize, enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and share stories of the journey to health. The Gate is a drop-in and resource centre and a point of contact with medical & community services. The Gate is able to provide a welcoming space for HIV clients to wait and to talk in confidence with a caring person who is a member of the HIV Positive Peer Support Program. HIV Peer Mentors are trained members of the HIV Peer Support Group of the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region. The peer mentors are present for consultation on a regular basis.
