About this organization
The Shelter provides temporary shelter, safety, nutrition, transportation, information, referrals, and support to women and children who are experiencing physical, mental, sexual, emotional, and/or spiritual abuse.
Services Offered:
- Safety: Protection, liaisons to police, and victim services.
- Shelter: A clean, home-like atmosphere with healthy balanced meals where women and their children can be safe and make plans.
- Support: Non-judgmental listening, exploration of choices and options as well as assisting women in making connections to meet their needs.
- Referrals: Referring women and their children to appropriate community agencies and resources.
- In-House Programming: Group and individual sessions on a wide range of topics.
