About this service
Living Sky School Division recognizes the right and responsibility of parents residing within the school division to direct the education of their children in their home and offers support in many ways. Students participating in home-based education are students of the school division, and are required to be registered as such.
Parents must complete the Notice of Intent and Registration Form for Home-based Education and submit their form along with their Written Education Plan to fulfill requirements for registration each year.
Home based educators shall observe regulations as stated by the Ministry of Education. The Superintendent for Home-based Education will monitor home-based programs, and provide services to parents and/or guardians.
