:Helping families of problem drinkers cope with difficulties brought about by the situation
Al-Anon is made up of people who are, or have been affected by someone elses drinking. They are actively working the Twelve Steps of Recovery and part of that process is sharing their experience, strength and hope, with others; in particular, people new to Al-Anon.
Our members do their best to be there when people are seeking information and help. The best way to do this is by attending a meeting in person. Nothing can beat meeting someone who has been where you are. Please look up a meeting convenient for you to attend on the Meetings page of this website.
If you have questions, you may also connect with people via the Area Information Services within Al-Anon. When calling you may reach a person immediately, other times you might have to leave a message for a call back, or, you might have to call back as you arent in a position to have someone call you.
