About this service

CURRENTLY THE DROP IN CENTER IS CLOSED DUE TO THE covid-19 OUTBREAK.

The Meadow Lake Food Bank is a department of Meadow Lake Outreach Ministries. Our goal is to provide food security for individuals and families located in the RM of Meadow Lake.

Between May 2019 and March 2020 Food Bank services have been accessed by 1,902 individuals resulting in 253 households having access to food security. As of March 2020 children 18 and under represent 49% of hamper services accessed.

The Meadow Lake Food Bank is a non-income producing part of our ministry and as such we rely on our other departments as well as the generosity of individuals for financial support. Currently we have ONE regular monthly supporter and the Food Bank is financed almost exclusively by the other departments in the organization. We are looking for individuals who are able to contribute ANY monthly amount, as it all make a difference!
