About this service
LSAS will be holding Teaching Tuesdays, Therapeutic Thursdays and Storytime Saturdays featuring staff sharing some of their favourite resources, coping skills and stories for viewers on their YouTube channel. In honour of Sexual Violence Awareness Month, LSAS is also planning Awareness Wednesdays for the month of May Each Wednesday of the month will feature a special video edition:
May 20th Positive Partnerships (with local guest speakers)
May 27th Celebrate the Farmers Floor Initiative
Our role is to provide violence prevention, education, support and crisis intervention services. We work closely with community organizations to deliver the best possible services in a responsive, flexible and professional manner.
We strive to foster change within our community by creating sensitivity, knowledge and skills to respond to the needs of the children, youth, adults and families coping with the trauma of sexual abuse, sexual assault, family violence and bullying.
