About this organization

The Workforce Development for People with Disabilities (WFD-PD) program provides funding that helps each person prepare for, find and keep a job. Funds are limited. We do not approve all applications. Program objectives, eligibility and how well you meet the criteria determine the level of support.

The program is designed to:

  • Provide people with disabilities with the supports and skills required for participation in the labour force;
  • Remove barriers that people with disabilities face in preparing for, obtaining and maintaining employment; and
  • Assist employers who include people with disabilities in their workforce.
Who can use it?

Persons 16+ with a disability who require extraordinary supports to obtain/maintain employment
