About this service
The Child and Youth Counselling program aims to support programs that help youth and families access the right care at the right time offering services in the homes and the communities of the client it serves. The counselling program is aimed at people under 24 years of age. The goal is to provide immediate interventions for youth who require it; offer additional supports to the families we are currently serving; and help families navigate and access additional services they may need.
Concerns children and youth may present for counselling services include:
- Mood disorders (anxiety, depression)
- Self harming behaviours
- Family dishamony
- Parent-child conflict
- Grief
- Behavioural challenges
Intakes are accepted on a continual basis. Child and youth clients are seen by a clinician within 7 days of Intake. Intake may be completed by phoning 306-682-4135 or by completing the Intake.
Who can use it?
People under 24 years of age.
