Canadian Childbirth Association

The Canadian Childbirth Association (CCA) is an international organization representing education relating to childbirth in Canada and throughout the world. The CCA supports organizations that provide services to pregnant women.

The mission of the CCA is to provide leadership and advocacy for the education of childbirth to the general public. We provide vitally important health information that has the potential to create healthier pregnancies and childbirth in our society leading to an increase in the health of our population. The Canadian Childbirth Association promotes the development of education in the public interest and contributes to increased maternal and infant health around the world.

The vision of the Canadian Childbirth Association is that childbirth education is fundamental to maternal and newborn health services and that every woman must have free access to childbirth information to increase the health of themselves and their baby.
