About this service
An early intervention service designed to connect individuals and families affected by Alzheimers disease or another dementia with information, education and support as soon as possible after diagnosis and throughout the progression of the disease.
When people with dementia and their families give permission for physicians, specialists and other health professionals to make a First Link referral, they will be contacted directly by First Link staff from the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan and be offered information, education and support. People affected by dementia can also self-refer to this agencys programs and services.
