WHAT IS TELEMEDICINE?
Telemedicine uses telecommunication technologies (tablet, smartphone) to provide remote health care. You will have consultations by text messaging or video with nurse practitioners and doctors. The targeted needs are episodic in nature, such as prescription renewals, certain viral or bacterial infections, or referrals to specialists. In the documentation section you will find a list of needs for which you can receive care in the comfort of your own home.
