About this service
A huge part of a young persons life, school is often a source of stress and peer pressure, which in some cases can contribute to drug abuse problems.
Many Portage clients have struggled in school, and some have even abandoned their studies all together.
To help them get back on track and learn how to succeed in a school environment, Portages drug addiction rehabilitation centre for youth in Saint-Malachie features on-site school programming, provided by the commission scolaire de la Cte-du-Sud.
Clients are better able to manage their academic responsibilities at lcole l'Envol because of:
Small class sizes
Specialised and dedicated teachers
Learning programs adapted to individual needs
