About this organization

APARY is a nonprofit and charitable organization. The Association was founded on April 01, 1996 thanks to the initiative of speech therapists, volunteers of aphasic people as well as relatives. We have a foothold at the Long-Term Care Center at Pavillon Htel-Dieu in St-Hyacinthe. For 20 years, we have been serving aphasics who have lost the use of speech following a stroke. More than 5,000 people will have a stroke each year. We can help you, your friends and your loved ones to meet your needs.
