The respite service responds to a known need of clients who are members of the Canadian Forces and Canadian Veterans Affairs (VAC). This is an emergency service for people who must temporarily withdraw from their community in order to be received, as far as possible, the same day, in a safe and professional environment where an experienced interdisciplinary team will offer the framework that will allow him to "catch his breath".
