About this service
Community activities were established in 2006 in the Duberger, Les Saules and Lebourgneuf sectors in collaboration with the City of Quebec and the Maison des jeunes l'Antidote de Duberger.
The mandate of the community worker is above all to be a resourceful and significant person for people aged 11 to 25. In addition, he must ensure a presence in the targeted parks in the sector and in the various environments frequented by adolescents. When the community worker is able to establish bonds of trust with young people, his role is to carry out prevention and awareness on various subjects (drugs, violence, school, employment, friends, family, health, lovers, etc).
