About this service
Inspired by the evidence-based IPS (Individual Placement Support) model, PISE is a new labor market integration program for people with mental health problems. This program is offered by a team made up of people from Croissance Travail, the CIUSSS de la Capitale-Nationale, Arc-en-ciel, and Pavois. This is the first program offered by a joint team made up of network workers and community organizations.
One of the particularities of this program is that there are no exclusion criteria. Even if the person has symptoms, uses drugs, has a criminal record and has no work experience, they can access services. However, the motivation to integrate the job must be present and the person must be ready to get involved in the process. She must also benefit from clinical follow-up, that is to say from a team that can intervene quickly if necessary. The program provides intensive follow-up and support in all the steps for which a need is identified.
