About this service
The CMQ makes home visits to newcomers being settled. These visits normally take place a few days after taking possession of the first permanent accommodation. They aim to verify that all the steps initiated have been completed, and above all make it possible to ensure the well-being of the family or the newly arrived person.
Through this approach, the home follow-up worker is able to see if newcomers have access to all the resources in the neighborhood, if there is a peaceful cohabitation with the neighborhood and if all basic needs are met. These visits are also an opportunity to get to know all the family members better in their living environment.
