About this service

In addition to fully adhering to the philosophy of civic sponsorship, the godfather or godmother possesses all of the following qualities:

  • Autonomous
  • Responsible
  • Available, preferably long-term
  • Empathetic
  • Respect the person in their differences
  • Able to recognize the intrinsic value of each person

By living a match, you will be able to explore different avenues with your godson according to your tastes, your interests, your availability: cinema, outdoors, museums, restaurant, discussions, exchanges, etc. The Centre's workers will provide you with all the support you need for the duration of your match.

Civic sponsorship is for anyone: child, teenager, adult, elderly person:

  • Having an intellectual disability
  • Having a physical disability
  • Having a mental health problem

People living with physical or intellectual disabilities or mental health problems.
