About this service

The People's Groups Solidarity Fund was set up in 1974 to finance people's rights groups. Currently, five groups are working, in a spirit of solidarity, to self-finance their actions.

For 40 years now, the associated groups have managed, administered and democratically distributed the sums collected during fundraising campaigns. The sums collected by the fund allow community organizations to continue their work, to carry out training, education and awareness activities with the population of the region. Groups can thus carry out actions and struggles in order to counter the impoverishment and deterioration of living conditions.

Finally, the Popular Groups Solidarity Fund is intended to be a unique and original self-financing experience carried out by and for popular groups in the Quebec region.
