About this service
The self-help group for parents of young adults is for parents of children aged 18 to 30 who live at home. Unlike programs for parents of children and teenagers, this self-help group is not based on a series of workshops whose meeting themes are pre-established. The group is "open" both for the topics covered and the frequency of participation since the parent who believes he has reached his goals can withdraw from the process when he deems it appropriate or if he has reached his goals. During these meetings, in small groups, the parents address the problematic situations they experience with their young adult. Some seek to make their young person more independent, more responsible; others want to end the verbal, psychological or even physical abuse they are experiencing.
