About this service
Diet plays an essential role in the quality of health of PLHIV. We offer a range of services and activities aimed at facilitating our members' access to healthy food at low cost.
DISTRIBUTION OF PERISHABLE FOODSTUFFS
In collaboration with Moisson-Qubec, a team of volunteers receives and distributes food parcels every Wednesday. Low-income people who are members of the organization benefit from this activity.
DAILY DINNERS
Every day, quality lunches are offered free of charge to our members and volunteers.
CREATIVE KITCHENS
Socializing while cooking, while developing different skills, that's the goal of culinary workshops. Participants have access to the MIELS-Qubec kitchen to concoct their own dishes. This activity is offered monthly in the form of an open group. Registration required.
FOOD BANK
This activity takes place one week per month. It allows PLHIV to obtain several non-perishable foodstuffs and gift cards from grocers for perishable foodstuffs, for a very modest sum
