Meeting Cafe of Downtown Quebec City - Community Animation

Community animation takes different forms, concerts, healing evenings, discussion workshops, etc. At the moment, the best-known entertainment is the Caf-Art.

Caf-Art aims to bring together people from different socioeconomic classes and prioritizes the inclusion of vulnerable clienteles (poverty, mental health, etc.). This activity also provides a supportive environment where participants receive encouragement while creating new friendships.

We have achieved several objectives such as: helping participants regain their self-confidence and fighting against social isolation by facilitating group integration.

During the workshops, our students paint approximately one work every three weeks. We also participated in five exhibitions on different themes such as: Pop-Art, surrealists, winter scenes, abstract, etc. In addition, we had the chance to go out in Quebec City, its museums and its parks.
