About this service
Center Step offers specific assistance to caregivers, thanks to funding from the Appui Capitale-Nationale for caregivers of seniors. The aging of the population is a reality in Quebec. One in five employees is a caregiver, the majority of whom are women. From these observations, Center Step sees the need to promote access to employment and job retention for these women informal caregivers.
The three service components offered free of charge are:
- Group support
- Thematic conferences
- Individual support
- These services are scalable and adapt to the needs of caregivers.
