About this organization
The Youth Secretariat
Founded in 1983 and placed under the authority of the Premier of Qubec within the Ministre du Conseil excutif, the Youth Secretariat plays a strategic role in representing the interests and needs of young people, in order to influence government action.
Since 2001, it has had a reinforced advisory role in youth matters with the Prime Minister and departments and agencies. It ensures that they participate in achieving the objectives of the Youth Policy. To do this, it performs two important functions:
