About this organization
La Maison des Petites Lucioles is a non-profit organization which, motivated by its values of dedication and openness to difference, offers young people with multiple disabilities respite services and accommodation in a warm, safe environment. and stimulating, in order to preserve the well-being of the family and promote the maintenance of young people in their family environment. Established in 2008, the organization offers specialized respite and stimulation services to young people in the Quebec region aged 0 to 21 years.
The Lucie-Bergeron house welcomes children from 0 to 12 years old while the Thomas-Boucher house welcomes young people from 13 to 21 years old. Each point of service can accommodate up to fifteen young people living with intellectual or physical disabilities, multiple disabilities or an autism spectrum disorder (clientele 0-5 years old) and requiring individualized services, 24 hours a day. 24, 7 days a week.
