About this organization
The MS Society provides services to people with MS and their loved ones and funds research into the cause and cure of this disease. It has over 7,000 members and is the only national voluntary organization in Canada to support both research and a service program for people affected by MS. Since its founding in 1948, the MS Society has been supported by donations from tens of thousands of individuals, corporations and foundations from across Canada. It receives almost no financial support from the government.
Canada has one of the highest rates of multiple sclerosis (MS) in the world. However, the MS researchers working in our country are world leaders in their field. Now we want the Government of Canada to lead the way in helping people #livebetterwithMS.
