About this organization
The "388" is a psychoanalytic treatment center for psychotic adults . The Centre's services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The 388 treatment program is offered in partnership with the Integrated University Health and Social Services Center of the Capitale-Nationale ( CIUSSS-CN ). It reports to the Mental Health and Addictions Branch.
The Center is aimed at adults with a problem of schizophrenia or related psychoses. It offers comprehensive and intensive treatment based on a psychoanalytical approach to psychosis developed and provided since 1982 by the Freudian Interdisciplinary Group for Research and Clinical Intervention.
Intensive follow-up and comprehensive medium- and long-term treatment are offered by a multidisciplinary team. This is headed by a psychiatrist who provides psychiatric follow-up in accordance with advances in psychiatry.
Who can use it?
Adults 18 and 35 years old with a problem of schizophrenia or related psychoses.
