Flore Morneau-Sevigny Psychologist

I have been working in the field of psychology and helping relationships since 2009. I am a member in good standing of the Order of Psychologists of Quebec and hold a doctorate in psychology (Ph.D. Research and Intervention Program ). My doctoral thesis focused on the factors associated with psychological distress in university students. As part of my studies, I developed an expertise on the psychological distress of health professionals, more specifically medical students. I wrote a scientific article on this topic (Morneau-Svigny et al., 2013).

My approach is integrative and relational. I use two forms of integrative therapy in my work: schema therapy and bonding psychotherapy. For me, change in therapy happens through a relationship between therapist and client. In my work, I attach great importance to the therapeutic alliance.
