About this organization
The Teapot's goal is to foster and strengthen the sense of belonging, self worth, and self respect among members by providing opportunities and developmental activities to interact and share in a secure environment. We continue to offer 52 weekly programs to 850 members and provide a range of home and community based support services to 345 less autonomous members. Our centre recognizes the importance of volunteers who give their time in many areas such as administrative tasks, programs and services delivery. We engaged in inter-generational activities and also participated in a community security project to help seniors feel safe in their homes.
