About this service
The ragpicker is the social economy component of the Service d'entraide and specializes in the sale of used clothing and items. It is also the largest source of funding for the Service d'entraide de St-Romuald.
The items sold are generously donated by the population. They are first sorted, sometimes washed and repaired, before being placed on the shelves for the benefit of the entire population. The prices are very advantageous and take into account the quality of the product.
Each of the department's volunteers ensures that the merchandise offered is of high quality. They set the prices for the items in their sector. New merchandise is regularly put on the floor, in addition to the monthly rotation. Our volunteers take care to make shopping pleasant for customers, which is why constant efforts are devoted to the maintenance and refurbishment of facilities and displays.
