National Center for Driving Construction Machinery

The National Construction Machinery Center is located in the Saint-Jean-Chrysostome district of Lvis. Annually, more than 110 students attend regular courses, in addition to 1,300 workers from industry who come to improve their skills there.

The center has around 100 machines: hydraulic excavators, bulldozers, minibuses, graders, wheel loaders, road trucks, service trucks and roller compactors. About ten classrooms, two garages and a meeting room spread over more than 530,000 square meters are available to teachers and students. The center provides more than 12,000 hours of training in collaboration with the Commission de la construction du Qubec and the Construction Industry Training Fund. These training sessions involve nearly 1,300 participants. The placement rate is close to 100% and students and employers are put in contact through a privileged online placement service.
