About this service
Participants graduating from the New Beginnings group are invited to attend the weekly Rock & Talk (R&T) program. The group meets on Thursday's from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. at Family Place. The group is for moms, dads, caregivers and their children (aged infant to 3 years old) and is offered free of charge. At the end of the session the group enjoys a healthy snack together.
Topics include: Infant care (infant nutrition, infant care & safety, infant growth & development; first aid & CPR, infant stimulation), parenting (parenting styles, ages and stages, discipline, language development, literacy for little ones, infant & child development, building self esteem, playing it safe), personal growth & development (healthy relationships,
Program includes: a nutritious snack, food supplements form breastfeeding moms and resource kits.
