About this service
Riverside School is one of over 100 elementary schools in the Waterloo Region District School Board and is one of 3 elementary schools in the town of Elmira. At the present time, there are approximately 400 students attending the school from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6. The original school was opened on October 29, 1962. A five classroom portapac was added in 1995. In September 2017, we opened our new school at 250 William Street. It is a 2-story facility with a double gym, beautiful library, and a lot more space to learn, play, and grow! Riverside is a small school with a big heart. Staff, students and parents work together to create a safe, secure and dynamic school environment.
