Windsor Homes Coalition - Non Profit Social Housing

The two Windsor Coalition agencies currently own and rent 108 housing units located throughout Windsor, but largely concentrated in the citys downtown core communities. These properties include 14 individual homes, 28 duplexes, 2 triplexes, three 4-plexes, 3 multi-unit row houses and one 6-plex residential housing unit.

None of the Windsor Coalition housing properties have any signage or other markings on them that would indicate from whom the tenants are renting. Similarly, agency property maintenance staff wear neither uniforms nor any other kind agency markings, and their service vehicles are also signage-free. This is done so as to facilitate tenant privacy and to avoid possible stigmas associated with subsidized housing.

Prospective tenants are pre-qualified and referred to Windsor Coalition homes by the Central Housing Registry Windsor/Essex County. Our tenants include single people and families on low and fixed incomes, including seniors and people with disabilities.
